Common Name: Zanzibar croton
Botanical Name: Codiaeum variegatum zanzibar
Zanzibar crotons make attractive hedges and potted specimens, valued for their striking foliage. They are one of the houseplants you can't miss because of their colourful foliage. They're eye-catching in your living rooms. They only survive outdoors where temperatures do not normally drop below 10° to 13 °C in winter.
As it is a tropical plant, caring for a croton involves proper watering and humidity as it does get benefit from high humidity. Croton growing in pots should only be watered only when the top of the soil is dry to the touch.
